I Transformed My Life in 10 Days…Can You?


As many of you know, I’m always looking for ways to improve my energy, well-being, and whole-self. Recently, I started (and should note, completed!) a 10-Day Transformational Challenge to improve and change my life.

I know what some of you are thinking (and no, I can’t read minds, but can take a pretty good guess) – “Kelly, if this is some sort of diet or health kick…count me out!” And don’t worry – you’ll never hear me pushing diet advice on this blog! My Transformation Challenge was far from a diet or a health kick – this transformation was about taking time for 10 consecutive days to focus on one particular topic each day, which would ultimately end up enriching and enhancing my life and overall well-being.

I’ll be the first one to admit that some of the topics were absolutely much more emotional and harder to tackle than I bargained for. As someone who’s up for a good challenge with Spirit, I knew that this was something I absolutely HAD to do. I wanted to see the areas in my life that had “blocks” in them, tackled and then healed for my greater good.

The challenge didn’t financially cost me anything either! I just made a conscious effort every day for 10 days, to really focus on each day’s topic and let myself embrace the transformation that came along from it. And because I really enjoy journaling, I did end up keeping a journal of what I experiences each day. This helped me immensely with receiving and digesting the insight and healing I experienced each day.

Below you can find my 10 Day Transformation list;

1. Be mindful of everything that makes you an abundant and prosperous person. Spend the day being grateful of them!

2. Really, truly let yourself acknowledge your emotions and feelings about a situation, a person, or something that is causing you distress or grief. Stress comes in all shapes, sizes, and situations; take time today to acknowledge that it’s completely okay to feel the emotions you have toward the situation. You’ll be so pleased to see that those emotions have significantly less “power” to them after you’ve acknowledged how you feel.

3. Take two good chunks of time out of your day to meditate or pray. Connect with Spirit/God/The Universe, a Spirit Guide, a loved one who has passed away, or even YOUR higher self. You will be amazed with what you can learn by quieting your mind and connecting with something “bigger!”

4. A simple and straight to the point request…go out of your way to do a random act of kindness…even if it’s for yourself!

5. Make a mental or literal list of people, places, or things that you want to send loving energy out to today. Know that as you create your list, all the love you are sending out will also come back to you tenfold.

6. Let your body really breathe in divine energy, and allow your body to release any areas of tension, pain, or stress today. Spend the day focusing on how your physical body feels: What pain could you truly live without; Why are you holding onto the pain; and What pain could be connected to something emotionally trapped in your body? Take the day to continue to tell yourself “I release the need for this condition/illness/pain/suffering.”

7. Be aware of what you’re actions, words, or thoughts are sending out to the Universe. Remember… “like attracts like!” Spend the day changing your thoughts to an optimistic pattern, and really try to catch yourself when feeling stressed or frustrated.

8. Indulge yourself with a simple pleasure! We all have things in our lives that bring us great joy and happiness…be sure to take time today to indulge in one, two, or three of those! After your 10 Day Transformation, extend this daily challenge to a weekly one – once a week be sure take time to indulge in a simple pleasure, you’ll be so glad you did!

9. Keep a small mirror with you today. Make time to look into the mirror and tell yourself how loved YOU are. Take time to see YOUR beauty. Take time to appreciate the amazing person that YOU are.

10. Forgiveness Forgiveness Forgiveness … Your goal today is to forgive yourself or someone else. Everyone has their own preconceived notions of what forgiveness represents or means, so find a way to connect with the concept of forgiveness that is comfortable for you.


And there it is…10 days worth of “challenges” that will absolutely, without a doubt transform your life. I guarantee that you will learn so much about yourself and find such peace within your soul.
